Disneyland`s website states: « The State of California strongly recommends that all guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test before entering disneyland resort » and « We encourage people to get vaccinated. » Interestingly, the very carefully worded statements of each park differ slightly in that the Disney World text explicitly mentions that « face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated guests, » while Disneyland`s statement omits the mention of fully vaccinated guests and only addresses the status of unvaccinated guests. Of course, California will tomorrow lift its indoor mask requirement for vaccinated people, which means the park will also lift those requirements given Disneyland`s non-reporting.

Disney`s change in its mask policy comes after Universal Orlando in Florida lifted its requirements for indoor and outdoor masks for fully vaccinated guests.
