Application forms for lawyers who wish to be included in the list of court-appointed lawyers for criminal, family and juvenile cases are available at the following links: These forms can be filled out on your computer. You can also print the forms and fill them out by hand. The court accepts applications for inclusion on the list of public defenders or for promotion to another list during the year. The indigent committees of the court meet quarterly to consider applications. The process is governed by Local Administrative Order 2014-1. Please complete the applications for each list you are interested in and send the complete application to Case Management, 5th Floor, Macomb County Courthouse, 40 N. Main, Mt. Clemens, MI 48043.
